The "Hillel-Haus" – a dorm for jewish students
Our Hillel-House is in a quiet residential area in Zürich-Oerlikon, very close to Zurich University's Irchel campus, and roughly between the University & ETH at city center on the one hand, and ETH Hönggerberg at the other.

The Hillel-House is open for all jewish students. It features 25 furnished single rooms with kitchenette, plus a common recreation room with TV/stereo, a library and a common kitchen. The house offers rooms at reasonable rates in an international jewish atmosphere.
As the Hillel-House may be used for events of jewish interest for both residents and external people, we give preference to tenants who are interested in organising such events, e.g. friday evenings, jewish holiday events or others. The common kitchen is to be used kosher.
Tram & Bus: 2 stations are within walking distance. Shops are nearby.
Travel time by tram: City center/main station 15 min., jewish communities ca. 20 min.
AKL's Hillel-House commission takes care of the house. Our house is in good condition. Administration is in the hands of a professional property manager (see below). We are happy that our house usually is fully rented out. It is therefore useful to make early contact in case of interest.
